One summer my mother, my sister and I visited my grandmother in Mani where my father was born.  My grandmother's house was just behind the Christeas Tower.  Under the rock where the tower stood there was a cave where my sister and I used to go with a little row boat and collect beautifully polished stones from the bottom of the cave. (I was six years old and my sister was four at the time).
