I created Lovely Day the day after Achilles came to me in my dreams and told me how to escape from my nightmare.  He said one word to me UP - and gave me his shield. 

The strong forms are my heroes and are connected and surrounded with a celebratory signature.  This art note is a celebration of reversing the outcome of my nightmare and finding all my heroes up the moon. With this art note I came out of my nightmare and sat free, up on the moon.  It is great up here.

"Lovely Day" was on my 1995 art show's poster in Athens Greece.   I was thrilled to learn from my volunteers posting them that shop-keepers chased them down to get one if their store was over-looked!
