"Friends" (Last Steps To The Moon)

 As I said before, I had continued to recreate the images of this nightmare in the forms that you're seeing now.  The next step for me was realizing that I should turn an aspect of this nightmare into a physical reality.  If Achilles said "Up," and actually intended me to reach the moon, I would make enough pieces that if physically interlocked would cover the distance from Earth to our moon.  This wall sculpture is unique from the other two because its halves can be detached and then put back together again (whereas the other two are permanently joined at their connection).  This wall sculpture is painted on all three sides with forms and characters that come from a motorcycle trip that I took with my son to South Dakota.
