Two Steps To The Moon

  This wall sculpture, the last in the series, was inspired by the colors of Autumn foliage in New England.  These particular colors and forms come from the route I took by motorcycle to see my daughter while she was in college.  

There are only three in this series and the colors and forms and inspirations become more positive as the climb continues.  The reason?  My son was involved in physics at that time and calculated the total time and pieces necessary for me to cover the actual distance to the moon.  To make a long story short, I would complete the journey only if I worked 24 hours a day, every day for 320 years! 

     Lucky for me,  it only took three steps for me to win the fight.
